Hi,

I want to sponser my mother-in-law's US Visit, who is a housewife in India. My father-in-law does not have his income tax returns documents. Can you suggest what other documents can she carry for her husband?

She was refused visa once last month stating that she needs to carry strong proof for her intent to return.

She has property papers and their business papers. Would it suffice? How important is the income tax returns documents?

Actually my father is retired. He took voluntary retirement in 1992 and has the papers for the same. He has just started a small business in April 06 for which also he has papers and they have a house which they bought this year 3 months back.

I have a brother (aged 25- assisting my father in business), and my grandmother who live with my parents. Only my mother would be travelling.

Please advise.
