Part time employment need advise

Hi,

I am trying to apply visitor visa for my parents.

1) My mom works part time for a news paper, as she is part time she cannot get employement letter and leave sanction letter but she has Id card and prof of salary. Is it advisable to show as she is working or better show as housewife? bcoz i am concerned that VO officer might think that there is not enough proof for her employement. Is there any advantage of showing her as working since she is only 45yrs old.

If she is working part time, you can't show her as housewife.

If she can't get leave sanction letter that is fine.
Try to see if she can get employment letter. Otherwise, justify to the consular officer why she can't get that.

No matter what, always tell the truth.

Working women (whether part-time or full-time) have better chances than housewives especially if they are of young age like your mom.

Always tell the truth. Try to at least get a letter stating that she is employed part-time by the company.

Thank you so much for your advise. Since my mom is getting salary less them 1,50,000 PA as per law she is not suppose to pay income tax and she does not have papers for the tax returns too.....Will it be ok? will the visa officer understand all these things? or do i they have to take any proof, anybody have any experience or know information on this.

Visa officer understands everything. They see around 1000 people like mom every day.
