Uncle and Aunt got visitor visa

Hello, Uncle and Aunt got visitor visa at Kolkata consulate. The visa processing has been very easy as far as I verified with them. They don't ask those difficult questions anymore.They just checked what is our relationship and how much are they getting as retirement pension and checked all my papers and that's it.

They were wished to have a happy journey and they came out of the consulate.

Hello, Could you tell me what documents did you send them to establish your relation?. And how did your uncle and aunt establish the relation?

Sanjay: Sorry for getting so late as I am busy preparing to go to india. I did send the documents as outlined in this web site, nothing more and nothing less. However, I advised my Uncle and AUnt to have an affidavit of the following

Affidavit fo all the assets he has in India
Affidavit showing that we are in a joint family
Affidavit showing that he has all his family (son and daughter) are in india
Affidavit on bank balance
Affiadavit stating that my parents did come to usa and left withing 6 months and the photocopy of their passports

Besides this all the documents mentioned in this web site for the visitor

When they ask how long do you intend to visit, just say 4 months and also mention the same in 156 form

Then you are all set
