Visitors Visa Issuance for Mother If father not accompany her

Hi What are the chances for Visitors visa If my mom only attends for Interview. My father never be interested in going out side india, So I sent papers for my mother only. In case, If VO asks my mom "Why is your husband not accompanying you?" "How he will manage without you?". "Why you wanted to be there for long(6 months)?" What she should tell. Appreciate your help.. My father doesn't even a passport.

Actually this will go in favour of your mother because your father will act as
a family tie for her in India to which she will definitely return.
She should tell the officer that he is not interested in going. And that he does not even have a passport. She should ask for a short stay , not 6 months; some officers deny only on this basis thinking 6 months is too long
and the applicant may have intention of not returning.
She should ask for 3 months at the embassy. If she gets the visa, the stay will be decided at entry and mostly they stamp 6 months for parents.
