  • In-laws B2 interview in Mumbai

In-laws appearing for interview in Mumbai next week. Based on this site - we have prepared them for possible questions. All documents also seem to be done.

However - they are slightly worried and apprehensive of the entire process. Wondering if anybody had a recent Hindi interview at Mumbai?

How are Hindi translators at the consulate?

My in-laws can speak Mumbai-Hindi but not the pure north-Indian style Hindi. Would that be an issue?

Which visa officers to avoid, if possible?

You don't have to worry about the variations of Hindi.

If you are going to Mumbai and if you can speak 'Mumbai-Hindi' (Whatever that means), that should be good enough.

You can not choose or avoid a visa officer. It is necessary for you to appear before the one according to your token no. and the announcement.
