  • visitors visa for parents, adding a graduation ceremony letter

    Hi friends,
I am planning to bring my parents to US on visitors visa, their appointment is in Chennai (telugu) on Dec-15'th. We are actually 2 sisters living in US and my brother-in-law is sponsoring their trip. Because, i just got the h1 visa and not doing any job and thought this might be hard to explain. My sister is on dependent visa.
I am participating in the graduation ceremony in june-2007(june 18'th) for my masters degree. I can definitely get a letter from my school regaring this.
We wrote in DS-156 that they are coming for 4 months visit and starting on 15-apr,2007.
But my question here is , is that OK if my parents say that they want to visit US for visiting both their daughters and to attend their daughter's graduation ceremony? The thing here is, my borther-in-law is sponsoring the visa, not my husband.
How can we support ourselevs in this case?
Is that a good idea to add my graduation ceremony to thier visa?
I really don't want to take any risk as i am expecting a baby in may-2007.

    Please suggest me about this?
    Thank you very much!!

I don't see any problem in mentioning graduation ceremony.
