I - 134

Hi all,

My husband is sponsoring my parents' trip to US. We just sent accross the documents which included one I - 134 for both my mother and father. This one was with my father's name accompanied by my mother in field:3. I just noticed in the discussions that we have to send 2 forms for each applicant.

My questions are:
1. Is it true even if they are going to attend the interview together?
2. One of my friend had sent a single I -134 for both his mother and father and they got their visa.

Should we go ahead and send one with my mother's name and accompanied by my father in field:3?

please let me know. the interview is coming up soon.

What is the problem in sending 2 I-134s?

Just because it was OK with someone that he just sent one I-134 and got away does not mean it will be fine for everyone.

Instructions says that you need to send separate I-134 for each person. Why don't you simply do it?

Hi all,

in continuation to the above thread I have the following questions.

Me and my husband are joiintly sponsoring my parents and their interview is scheduled next week.
Would like to know if we have to send 4 I-134 forms or 2 (jointly)signed would be enough?

Also my father has arithritis problem due to which he would not be able to stand in the queue for long time. hence he plans to take the wheel chair service provided at the consulate. Would this affect his prospect of getting the visa?

Looking forward to some reply at the earliest.

If they attend the i'view together and travelling together then one I-134 form is enough or else two form required.

They are attending the interview together and will be travelling together if they get visa.
So you mean sending 4 will have negative effect? do we need to resend new I-134 (with both our signatures on them) one for each of my parents? Showing 4 I-134 would not work?

Hi,
If they attend visa together then one copy is the best. Because in both of your copies you are going to display the sam assets. If you are showing different assets then you and your spouse should show tow I-134 copies.
