  • Visotor Visa parents applying seperatley

    Please suggest me on this...

    Iam on H1. My parents visa application for B1/B2 got rejected for first time in october.

    A month later My mother applied for visa for second time and she got approved.

    Now we are thinking of applying for my father too. Following are my questions.

    1)Is it OK to apply for my father with in two weeks

    2)Is it wise to make my mother wait for travel , till my dad applies for visa.

    3) Will this have any impact on future visa issuance

    4) What is the best way to deal with this scenario.

    5) What are possible questions that VO may ask

    **They are just coming for visit. No plans of over staying at all. How to convey the same to VO.

    Thanks

    Please answer this question;
    When your mother was approved , did the officer ask why your dad did not apply this time? What was your mother's answer?

        So, this answers your query.

        If he applies before she leaves, you will be cheating with the embassy; first your mom says he is not going , he is busy with farming and now that your mom got the visa, he will apply shortly after. It is plain lying. The officer will
        have the salient features of your mom's interview on the screen in front of him and they will find out in no time.

        ADVICE: Let your mom travel alone. Let your dad apply in 2007 after your
        mother returns.
