Few questions for tourist visa

Hi,

My in-laws and my mother are having an appointment on Dec 20th 2006.
I have few queries, please reply to them:

a) I don't have much bank balance here so I am requesting them to show post office deposits and some cash as bank balance.

How much money do they need to show?

b) If their visa is rejected when can they apply again?

c) Right now, I have applied for H1 transfer (with my current employer) and I have not received the approval yet. Is it must to show I-797 or receipt is enough?

a. If you are sponsoring them and if you have enough money, they don't need to show any money.

Something like total of $5,000 should be enough.

b. Any time.

c. Receipt is enough.
