Visitor Docs:Cover Letter - Telugu/English?

Hi
My husband is sponsoring his parents and they have visa interview in the last week of this month. We took appointment for them in Telugu.

Do they need to write the Covering letter to the consulate ensuring that they will return within their intended stay of 6 months in TELUGU or in ENGLISH?

Also I would like to know in which language they need to provide the affidavits for property - Telugu/English?
