Handed over the Issuance fee DD by mistake to the VO

MY mom handed over the Issuance fee DD along with her passport when she went for the interview ( after hearing that she has been given visa)

She said she gave everything out of excitement.. DO you think we will get the DD back? I am not sure what to do..?
