My mother went for an interview for B2 visa at Kolkotta embassy yesterday and she got the visa ... dont know how many years yet.
We prepared all the documents based on this site.It helped a lot.
It was an easy process they just asked her the following questions:
1) Who is sponsoring your trip?
2) Why are you travelling alone?
3) With whom do you live in India?
4) They asked details about my brother in India with whome my mother lives(details like job etc)
