Is I-94 date legal or Visa date legal..?

Hi,

I have a question for which i need some help.

My dad's Tourist Visa expires on Feb 10th 2006, but when he is entering US, he got stamped on I-94 that he can stay till March 25th.

I heard from some one that, my dad can stay till March as the I-94 says. I am worried coz if my dad is going for visa next time, this could be a problem if he stays till March.

Please share your inputs.

DO not worry. He can stay till the date on his I-94 even it is beyond the visa expiry date. After you enter US ,
I-94 carries value, not the visa.
