H1B validity period and B2 visa

Hi,

My H1B is due for extension on Apr 2007. My parents are visiting the consulate in Chennai on Dec 2006. My visa extension has already been applied, but yet to receive I-797. Please advice, since my parents interview and my (sponsor) visa validity is just 3 months apart will it cause any issues...?

That's not a problem.

You should just send the receipt notice of your extension if you have. Otherwise, just send the proof of your current H1 status.
