question on affidavit of support

My brother and family are visitng US. They are working in India and they will be buying the ticket themselves.
1. Would it be better not to provide the affidavit of support, I-134. Would that give a better chance of getting visa
2. If I am not providing affidavit of support should I send any of the details like my job, salary, bank statement etc??
3. What are their chances of getting atleast a 3 months visa?

If they are sponsoring themselves, you can just send them the invitation letter, nothing else.

Duration of visa stamp depends upon the consular officer. Most people get at least 6 months.
