Can you reapply while your case is in admin processing

Hey guys,

My mother-in-law got a 221(g) at chennai consulate. She was asked to send answers to certain questions through email to chennai consulate. She did that immediately. However her case is in administrative processing for two months now. I am wondering if she can make a fresh appointment and re-appear for the visa. If any of you have done this please advise me.Thanks..

There is no point in apply for fresh application. Just wait for the current application to go through.
