On L1. How long before my company can apply for green card

Hi folks,

I recently came to US on L1. I wanted to know how long I need to work here before I/my company can apply for a green card. Also, should I apply for it or should my company apply for it? I am new to all this and answers would be greatly appreciated.

Your company has to file under EB-1 category. The requirements are almost the same as for an L1 visa.
Your work here on L1 is immaterial. Your company can file even now,
provided the company has been in existence in US for at least one year and its overseas office where you worked before coming to US is still functioning.
