Arrangement of docs.

Most of the people in this forum has mentioned that the applicant shud take the documents in a thin plastic folder. Is it okay if we can use a non-plastic good quality folder? and also what items are allowed inside the consulate?

Is there any suggestion whats the best way to take the documents to the consulate?
