Want Sponsership from my Brother

On this website i mostly read visa for parents or son/daughter.
But i want to visit to my brother in usa. he is a bank employee and also some business and well setteled since last 8 year. I am govt employee, my husband work have private job since about 15 years. we have two kids and living with my in-laws. is it possible to get visitor visa for me and my family? please advise me, kindly. what shoud i need to do ?

He called His Parents only 2 years back

*What is your and your husband's combined annual income(roughly) in India that you can show on paper?
About 4 Lakhs

*What is the combined value of all deposits ( savings, fixed, bonds, shares,
insurance, mutual funds) held by you and your husband?(roughly)
About 8 lakhs

*Do you or your husband own any property in India? What is its value?
about 3 Lakhs

You seem to be intelligent so you must first understand why the officers at embassy refuse the visitor visa so often. THE MOST COMMON REASON IS SUSPECTING THAT THE PERSON WILL NOT COME BACK. So, if all of you apply to go, the officers will suspect that all of you may settle in US with the help of your brother in US.

US visa is not easy so you must plan a strategy;

So a serious strategy here will be for half the family to apply now.After you have made a trip to US, the other two can apply some time later.
*You and your younger child should apply for the winter vacation in Dec.;
if you can get an appointment fast.
* The interview will go like this;
1.Why do you want to go?
To visit my brother's family with my child for the winter vacation and see
christmas in US.
2.How many children do you have? how old?
two.-----ages.
2.Why is not your husband and the other child going?
He is busy with his job and cannot get time off. The other child does not wish to go.
3. Who is there in US?
My brother is a green card holder/Us citizen (say one, whichever is correct).
4. Who is paying for the trip?
Me and my husband are.
5. What is your income and what do you do?
I have a govt job and my husband has a private job. Our total family income is about 4 lacs per year.
6. 4 lacs is not enough.
But we want to use out 8 lacs deposits and the trip will cost us about 1.5 lacs only. SHOW CA's paper of deposits.
7. How long do you want to go for?
2 weeks
7. WHy so short a period?
My younger child is crazy about seeing christmas celebration is US, so
we are going only for 2 weeks, because I have my job and my child has the school.

YOu should show the following documents;
1.An invitation letter from your brother sent to you, addressed to the Visa officer, US embassy, stating his visa/job status in US and stating that he wishes to invite his sister and her child to US during the winter vacation
for a period of 2 weeks (christmas time). And requesting that a visa be granted to her and her child.
2.He should send a copy of his passport and visa also.

3.You should get a no objection certificate from your govt job and also show
your salary slip.And your husband's salary slip.
4..Show your child's enrolment and extra leave sanctioned.
5.Get a list of all your deposits typed by a Chartered accountant
on his paper and have him sign it. Show a big figure ( 8 lacs ) at the bottom
as the total. ALso carry originals of your salary slip, bank statements, all deposits.

PS; If you can plan this trip durng the summer vacation ; it will be better
you could show a longer period of stay.
