I've got one question. I'm on H1 visa and planning to invite my parents for 3 months. My younger brother recently went to Australia on student visa. Should we tell this to Visa Officer or should we tell them he is working in india??

If your parents do not have any other children living with them,
you may have to lie to get the visa.

The only way they will know is ;if it comes out during the course of the interview. Your parents may say he lives with them first and by a slip of tongue ,as an answer to another unrelated question, they may mention australia. The officers are experienced and ask tricky , indirect questions so your parents need to be very careful.
I personally do not recommend lying. It is for you to decide.

But what are the chances that US Embassy would know that my brother is in Australia?? I just don't wanna take any chances
Thanks again
