Visitor Visa changed to K-1

I hope someone can help. In Oct 2006 we submitted a application for Visitor Visa in Abuja, Nigeria,but was denied due to no plane tickets purchased prior to the interview.(but was explained on the application)
No denial was stamped in passport just a stamp stating that a application was submitted.
Since than we got engaged and now want to submit a I-129F in Lagos Nigeria. Is there any withdrawl forms we need to send to the Consular or just carry on with our I-129F application ?

Please any advise is very welcome.

I was just asking because we changed so quickly I did not want the change to cause a red flag,nor did I want the consulars to think we were trying to cause visa fraud,Just trying to do things the legal way and be safe !
I was not sure if there were forms to file if you changed your visa type during the application process..We did file the I-129F Dec1,06.
