regarding passport delivery

hi all

my mother had visa interview on 27th nov monday morning. Her visa was approved. She has not yet got the passport. When i check in the VFS website i get a message saying "passport has not been handed over to VFS .Kindly call regional call centers for help"......i dd call the regional office also.....they also told the same thing....

i had written to vfs also today .........what else can i do......whom else to contact???

I checked the tracker for my father's passport and it says 'passport has not been handed over to VFS .Kindly call regional call centers for help'. How long does it take ususally for them to update?

its been 10 days since my mother got visa.......but still the passport is with the consulate only......any reason behind it......please help

its been 2 weeks now and US consulate has not handed over my mother's passport to VFS. This is the reply they gave on writing to them

Due to the increase in the appointments, the printing of visas are slowed down. Your mother's visa is not yet printed on her passport. We will be doing it in a few days time.

Has anyone had this same experience........what is the number to reach the Consulate.....i call to this number 91-44-2857 4242 but no one picks up.....is there any other number to reach them.

please help....i am due this saturday

My father got his passport back in 3 days. I am not sure who you should call, but it should not take that long. Why dont you contact VFS office at your place(mom's) and find out what you can do about it.
