Hello,
My parents visitor visa got rejected under section 214B. My husband has sent the sponsor documents. They were in USA in 2003. My father stayed for 3 months and my mother stayed for 10 months. We have applied for extension for my mom and we got the approval. My parents took all the documents except the approval letter of the extension.
Consulor officer asked how many kids you have? for which my dad answered
3, one son in Delhi, another son in USA and daughter in USA. Then checked the documents and asked about the extension letter of my mom. My mom said she had the approval but she doesnt have right now. He rejected their visas under 214B not under 221g.
They have appreared in Dec 06. Now we found the extension letter. But being in 214B section how much gap should I give for their next appointment?
Also she has breast cancer, can give reasons on cancer and tell that we need second opinion for cancer here and all also her medical expenses which will incur cannot be support by us ( based on her medical condition ) so they have to leave to India? and her expenses are covered by the insurance of their son. (My brother's employer sponsors the medical insurance )
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Sri.
