Parents got tourist visa at Chennai

My parents had an appointment on Nov 30th at 3:30 PM. Both of them got 10 year multiple entry visa. No documents were seen and no questions were asked. My dad and mom visited US in 2000 and stayed for 4 months. They got 6-month visa in the year 2000. The interview lasted for less than 2 minutes.

Tax returns
Pay stubs
Copy of birth certificate
Copy of marriage certificate
Invitation letter

None of the documents were checked.
