Hello,
My parents have a visitor visa interview on Jan 11, 2007. I have an approved I-140 and the priority date for I-485 is not current, My present H1 expires in April 2007. I haven't filed for automatic 3-year extension yet. So at the visitor visa interview, can the Consulate officer raise a red flag about my H1 validity? Can I show the I-140 approval notice as supporting documentation? Or is it wise to have the H1 extension completed first? Even if I file now, can the receipt notice be used as proof?
Thanks for any advise.
