  • sample letter to conular officer (214b)

    All,
My relatives visa was rejected under 214(b) in sep'06 w/o asking any questions. Now they are re-apprearing on 21st dec.
214(b) letter was saying 'no strong ties to return to home country'.
Can some one post a sample letter on this?

They have bank balance of 15 laks,a good house and propertry worth about 50 laks.

They are not working as they are on agriculture. They have 4 children and all of them are in india.
They are coming as a visitor(i am not sponsoring them).

All the samples are at https://www.immihelp.com/visa-immigr...ple-documents/

Ties to home country are specific to each person and can't simply be copied from someone else's letter or sample letter.

      Thank you

Thank you for the info, but what reasons can they show that they will return?
Also, having 10/15 laks as balance and 50 laks worth of property is worth enough?
They had showed 40 laks worth of property before now they can show around 60 laks.

What situations can they face with VO?

      Thank you

40 lakhs or 60 lakhs does not really mean anything to the consular officer.

As I said before, the reasons for the persons to stay back in India are specific to each person and there is no generalized answer. You know your case best and you can come up with some answers.

it is not so much the amount of money they may have nor the amount of property - it is the perceived intent of the applicants to abide by the rules. Trying to 'frontload' their accounts or transfer property title at the last minute will not succeed.
