Parents rejected 3 times. Applying for 4th time.
My parents have been rejected 3 times at Mumbai Consulate under section 214(b).
1st and 2nd reject: My sister was also applying with them. She was in pre-school.
3rd reject: Only my parents applied. Since they had the same business, the tax documents they asked for were same and they denied visa as they were not satisfied with the tax paid and said "Its foolish of you to apply"
My dad showed adequate income thats way ahead that would be required to visit and tour the US.
So, I took them to Europe tour last year.
Now my dad is applying for 4th time in Feb 2007.
I have following questions:
1. Since interview dates are easily avaiable within a month, I'm thinking of applying for my mother also. Would it be risky if both apply again?
2. Since they left my sister during 3rd reject, would that not be counted as a strong tie to return anymore? I emailed mumbai NIV and they said that if they were rejected with those ties, they will again be rejected.
3. Has anyone's parents got visa after 3 rejects? Please share your experience.
