How much money we can convert while comming on B2 visa?

My parents are planning to come in april. They have some savings in bank(Rupees). How much money they can covert into dollars for their expenses? Is there any limit on that amount?

Sorry, avf , it is NOT $2k. It is $ 10k (out of which only $2k in cash and $8k in travellers' cheques or travel card). It is called basic travel quota(BTQ)
and is available every year.
