How to get 10 years visitor visa

Hi,
I always had question as to why some ppl get 10 years visa and some don't.

My Mom and Dad had applied in 1998 and they only got 6 months visa, now my mom is again applying and I would like do all I can to have her 10 years visa.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is no way to guarantee that.

They give 10 years to people, they are convinced will never stay in US. Some people falling on the borderline, are given a shorter visa to see if they come back. The applicant has no say in this.

Usually if they've already been given a visa earlier and they've returned back within the stay period, the next time they apply, AMCON automatically gives them 10 year visas.

Also, they can mention to the immigration officer at AMCON that they'll be visiting the US often now.
