Urgent advice needed

My parents have 10 years visa and they have come to USA on Oct 4 2006 and they were given 6 months of stay in USA till April 3 2007. But, there is an emergency in India and they have to go back, but i wanted them to come back as soon as possible. I want them to come again after a month they go to India. Will, it be a problem if them come back to USA in a month after they have went to India.

Please respond soon i need to make my decision soon.

Yes, it will be. They should give more gap than one month. They will have to explain why they came back so quickly and unless they can give a very good reason other than a casual visit, they can be sent back from the airport.

I suggest they stay at least 4 months in India.

Since you do have an emergency in India while at the same time you need your parents back here soon, try to collect as much documentary & pictorial evidence as possible for this emergency and have your parents present this to the immigration officer when the return here to the US. That will make it easy for the immigration officer to understand the reason for this hurried trip back and forth from India.

However, if your emergency is not medical or justifiable, like it was a family dispute over land/property etc. or something like that, then it's advisable for your parents to stay put for sometime before returning, else it may not only cause problems when they return but every time they visit US.

Please do note that weddings may not be considered by the immigration officer as an emergency.
