  • Visitor visa-How many copies of each ?

    Hello,

I have the following questions regarding visitor visa for my parents. They will appear for the interview together at Delhi. I am on H1-B and married.

Q1. Do i need to send 2 copies of the following documents or is 1 copy enough for both of them -

    a. Copy of my passport(including blank pages)

    b. Copies of recent paystub (3?)

    c. Copy of my H1 approval notice (I-797)

Q2. Since i am sponsoring visa for my parents do i need to send any document pertaining to my Spouse (like H4 notice or her passport copy etc) ?

Q3. Do i need to get any form/document (other than I-134 for each of the parents) notorized (under sponsor's documents)?

    A prompt reply is appreciated.

    Regards,
    Sri

One copy is good enough. Most of the times they don't even check the documents.

        Well aren't you courteous.

At first you don't read the instructions provided on the Visitor Visa section of www.immihelp.com correctly and then when someone responds to your silly question you don't even thank that person.

A little bit of humility and manners will go a long way in securing a visa for your parents.

Now to answer your questions. Other than I-134 1 copy of each document is enough.

You do not need to send your wife's documents but it might be a good idea to do so.

From your side none, but the CA's letter etc from your parents side should be on stamp paper and notarized.

Also talk to your parents about the exact nature of your job and where you work. If you have switched jobs etc in past talk about them as well.

          Well Waiting too long,

Well I not sure how do you call yourself courteous. Please read my post again and if you cannot locate "Thanks" then kindly make it a habit to read others posts with attention.

Also Please be aware this is a public forum and do not try to use words like "silly" & "humilility" . Everyone has the right to ask questions and if the answers are not clear ask them again and again till one gets clarified.

Since you have taken time to respond to my queries i would thank you too !!

          -Sri
