H1 B expiring. Need to sponsor Mom

My H1 B & I-94 expire in Feb 2007. My green card is under processing(LCA approved). I need to sponsor my Mom's visitor visa for June 2007.

Can I apply for her interview now, or do I need to wait till after Feb for the green card situation to clear?

As long as you are in any legal status, you can sponsor her visitors visa at any time.
