My parents had their visa interview today. The lady at the counter said they have been approved for the visa and they will get thier passpot and all that stuff in a week. I wanted to know how will my parents know if this is a multiple entry visa or not? Will they know this only when they get their documents by mail?

They will know only when they get the visa, obviously. How else?
Multiple if it is "M" below ENTRIES on the visa.
Single if it is "S" .
