Administrative processing

Hi,

My parents went for interview last week. They issued visa for my mother but for my father they said it needs Administrative processing and it will take a month . They asked him to come next day with RS 4000 DD and get all his finger print taken. They didn't give him any blue or pink color forms. I can't find any info in consulate faq about this Administrative processing where they don't give any blue/pink color forms. I searched the forums and found some similar cases, but don't know what happened in the end. How long will it take to get this done? Can any of you who have been through similar procedure please let me know the outcome and how long it took to get it resolved.

BTW, which consulate did ur parents go to. I had gone thru the same situation and kept calling both the Madras consulate and dept of state of constant feedback. Not all cases take long, mine took about 4 months of procesing and 1 month on thier delay to contact us. Though i've been in touch with them.
