221g processing time
My parents had their visa int on dec 18 2006 at new delhi.The interview passed of well and the lady VO was very courteous.All the sponsor documents were in order.My father is a retired govt official and at the end of the interview the VO gave my father a yellow sheet or 221g saying that they needed to do some additional adm processing for my fathers case and that they would contact him.My mother however got a 10 yr ME visa.Its been more than 3 weeks but my dad is waiting for the consulate to contact him.We are in afix as to what to do next.Has anyone faced a similar situation with regards to 221g and if so please let me know as to how much time is taken for this Ad adm process to be completed and whats the outcome usually.Please share ur experiences
