Can I take appointment on behalf of my parents?

Hi,

I just wanted to know if I can take an appointment for my parents to be interviewed at Mumbai Consulate after they have paid the necessary fees? Also I would like to fill the DS-156 for them so that I send them everything together? Is that possible?

Please advise if someone has done that.
