My Parents got Visas in the Second attempt

Hi All,
I am very very happy to tell you all that My parents are granted visas in their second attempt.

I was browsing through this forum seriously and got some good ideas.

I attached our family photos in the very first page of the application.

And the documents were properly arranged.

I prepared three envelopes (2 for my parents and one for me(the sponsor))

I pasted a slip over the envelopes that lists what the envelopes contain.

And i had given answers to my parents for all the possible questions that VO would ask.

My parents were well prepared and practiced .

During the interview , the VO asked these questions

1) What r u doing?
Housing Business
2) How many children you have ?
x
3) What is your income?
x Rupees / month
my parents explained all the properties in detail.
4) Then VO asked about each person on the family photo.
my parents explained about each person

Then VO said , you are granted Visas. you will receive it in 2 or 3 days.


In the their first attempt, VO asked only two questions
1) what are you doing?
My father told "Retired Teacher"
2) what is your second son doing?
studying

that is it. Their Visa Applications were rejected.
Though my parents had carried every required documents and property proofs
VO didn't ask for those. They were simply denied.
I and my parents thought that my parents have every eligibilty to get the Visa because we carried all the docs. But that was not true.


My advise is dont simply think you will get the Visa.
Prepare very well according to your circumstances and attend the interview.
you will definitely get the visa.

Did you put "housing business" in 156 form for your father's occupation? Please let me know.

Yes I had put Housing Business as Occupation.

Thank you so much for sharing detailed information with us....my parents went there for non immigrant visa. on 10 jan 07. They had all the documents .Even then they didnt get the visa.

I am sorry about that . Even my parents carried all the docs . it was not successfull in the first attempt. sometimes it depends the luck(a good VO).

Try the something that i have mentioned in my post.
