Visitor visa appointment in Feb

Hi all,

I'm pregnant and my due is in March.31st. I'm trying to take visitor visa appointment for my mom in Feb for last couple of weeks. As I need some time to send all the documents. But there is no dates available till april.

Does anybody knows, how long is the waiting time? Is anybody planning to cancel their Feb appointment?

Is it possible to take the appointment in English thru online and requesting a translator after arriving the consulate? Because interview dates are available in English on Jan end and feb.

Any experience like this before?

How did you see dates for 2 months? I am looking at the check availability link. Once we fill the form are there more options available? I am trying to get an appointment in Mumbai Consulate but i do not see any dates?

when I was trying to see the current availability in english in chennai consulate, it showed me Jan and when I clicked the next button it showed Feb. I have no idea about the dates after filling the application.

Get HDFC Recipts ready for ur parents and fill in the the necessary data in www.vfs-usa.co.in and save the details online ( u can save it for 7 days & re-enter the data again) and keep checking 24/7. Grab the date when it opens.

Thats the only way u can get a interview date, u maynot get the date if u wait for someone else to cancel their appointment.

Thanks Radhi. I tried to create a new application in VFS website, as there is no appointment available it's not allowing me to fill the application. Is there any way to do that?

I have heard that you cannot change information for Q1 to Q14 once you fill it. Can we change any information within 7 days? I have the receipt but wanted to fill the form and confirm it with my parents before I take the date. At present there are no dates available at Mumbai Consulate.

if the dates are avaiable for type of visa and the language you had selected, then you wld get a window the first avaiable dates then clicking ">>" on top side of windows wld show the dates avaiable in the next month

once the appointment is confirmed, you cannot change these cols. so get all these and start entering once you see some dates.
if you want to change these values after getting appointment you need write with pen and let the officer know @ consulate on interview day.
