To Whomsoever It May Concern,
This is in reference to my mother’s visa appointment which was scheduled on January 4, 2007 at the New Delhi Consulate.
She had earlier appeared for my B2 Visa interview in Mumbai on November 7, 2006, where her visa got rejected as she was not carrying all the documents needed (her husband’s document).
Later we tried taking an appointment at the Mumbai Consulate and there were no dates available. It only showed dates available in Delhi and Chennai. Since I had read in the National papers that people in Mumbai can take appointment dates in Delhi and Chennai as well, I booked an appointment for my mother in Delhi for Hindi Language.
However, on reaching there, she was told that this facility existed only for English Speaking people and she was forced to return without any interview. They also gave her a document stating the same reason for which her first Visa Interview got rejected (Insufficient Documents) without conducting any interview.
After she was forced to return without any interview, we checked the website and found that she was not eligible to apply in any other Consulate except the Mumbai Consulate.
So I have 2 questions for you.
1) Can you re-activate the HDFC Bank Receipt which she used to secure an interview at the New Delhi Consulate as there was no interview which was conducted?
2) I hope this Delhi Consulate appointment would not be considered as a second rejection for my B2 Visa as in a true manner there was no interview which was conducted there.
Awaiting your reply at the earliest.
Regards
