my parents are applying visitor visa
my sister is doing her residency and my brotherinlaw is working.
so can my sister and brotherinlaw can sponsor them?
who will be the best sponsor.
q28) who will pay for ur trip?
what will be answer.
only sponsor name or both name and relationship too.
37)anr any person in the U.S or do they have usLPR
what should i write ? soninlaw or daughter

DS-156:
Q. no. 28: Self & Daughter (If ur sister is also employed & earning)
If ur sister is not employed, the sponser should be - Self & son-in-law

It is adviceable for ur parents to show some bank balance.

what is the status of ur sister? did she ever file for green card for ur parents?
Only if yes, u need to select daughter
or else, it is no.

thanks for help.
my sis is doing her residency there and she is a having green card.
she is earning about $43k so can we write both ie., son-inlaw and daughter as sponsor.
do we have to write "self" also. we are showing bankbalance but how much amount approx. we have to show.
she is a green card holder and work permit holder.
so it is yes and daughter? there is no soninlaw option.
