Hi,
I arrived in the US on a B1/B2 10 year visa and got a I 94 for 6 months which ends on Feb 10, 2007. During my visit, I met and married an H1B visa holder in the US itself after about 100 days of my initial entry date. I have now applied for a B2 to H4 visa conversion. But the result of that I 539 is expected only by March 2007 middle.
Since my I 94 would expire at least one month before the result of the I 539 is announced by USCIS -
1. Should I apply for a I 94 extension citing the reason that I have applied for I 539 so that I am not out of status?
2. What are the chances of the I 539 being approved?
