I134 - combined OR individual income - WHY?

I have read some of the threads. Some suggest to indicate combined income (husband's & wife's). Can somebody explain the reason behind opting 'combined income' over 'individual income'? Is it a positive point to indicate combined income?
If I am the sponsor, and if I include the combined income, dont you think it would be confusing? Should I include the text - "combined Income" next to the value?

actually putting combined income is not right and if you feel you need to show both incomes then it is best that each spouse fills in individual I-134.
