Modify Sponsor for Existing Visa Appt.

Is it possible to modify the existing sponsor for an existing appointment taken for my parents (My sister was the sponsor at the time we took the appointment ), I wish to be the sponsor for some personal reasons.

1. Do i need to cancel and take a fresh appointement?
2. Do i need to walk into any VFS office to do it?
3. Can i do it on Internet my self.

If the earlier appointment was taken online....

No need to cancel exisiting appointment you can use current one.
Goto VFS site and click on apply for non-immigrant visa and the follow the links.. update the DS156/157 forms accordingly.
Send all your supporing docs. Refer visitor/sponsor docs section on this site
