need help very urgent--visitor visa

My mom has an interview on 25th jan , My present H4 expired on dec 20th 2006 and my husbands company applied for my H4 extension in nov, but did not get my H4 extension document yet. So we have sent the petition application (which shows that an extension has been applied for me) to my mom to show as proof of extension.Unfortunately my husbands company lawyers did not get a reciept notice for my application but they have a reciept number .Is this good enough proof to show my H4 status?? My husband has already got his h1 b extension document and we already sent his h1 document photo copy as he is sponsoring my mom.
