  • Came 6 months back and applying visas for my in-laws

    Hi,

I came in 6 months back and planing to apply visas for my in-laws.
We both are working and my in-laws have another son and he is also in US.
My father-in-law has 6 yrs of service , he works in a bank..

We are expecting our baby , hence we are applying for visas.

Is it ok to apply for visas now....as it is only 6 months?
And our brother in law is also here.

Please advice on how to answer at Interview and what documents can they submit?

As My wife is also working? Is it ok for me to invite them...

    Thanks,

    I prefer...
    1. they self-sponsor or
    2. their son sponsor their trip (hopefully he is here for longer time and have enough financial stability) or
    3. you both sponsor trip (hopefully have enough financial stability)

I am not an expert, but I have just one point to make. I have read many peoples comments regarding mentioning pregnancy as the reason, (or one of the reasons) for the visit, and that it is not a good idea.

"As My wife is also working? Is it ok for me to invite them..."

It is ok for you to invite them, (I dont know if there is any significant disadvantage in that as opposed to your wife inviting them.)
