  • Doubt on VISA Duration

    Hi ,

    My in-laws got 6 months visa ..So do they have to travel now and go back in july ? or can they come here in June and go back on November?

    Please advice me ......

    The expiry date would be mentioned on the visa

      they can travel any day before expiry date and their stay in US depends on I94 issued @ POE

          So do they need to come back to India before the visa expires? ...
          I am tottaly confused .

            Don't be confused , it's pretty simple.

            1)Make sure they are travelling to the US well before the expiry of
            their visa.
            2)When they enter the US the immigration officer will print a date on
            a I-94 form(which they will be asked to file out on the plane).This date in most cases is six months in case of visitor's visa, this is the date that they need to come back on or before regardless of the visa expiry date.
