If my parents are self-sponsoring then do I need to send the Letter from Bank ?

Since I am not sponsoring them I think its not necessary

          Please advice

          Thanks once again Ramkumar.

This is my situation. Please advice.

My Mother and my in-laws have got interview at the same time and same day. I am planning to send them to the same counter at once.
My mother is sponsoring herself. My Father-in-law will sponser himself and his wife.

          Mother's situation
She has 3 daughters (all married) and I am the only son. My father expired in 1994. she is 66 now.

          Property
All the property is on my mother's name ( > 15 lakhs).
she gets 20,000 as rent. She gets pension. She can say rent and Pension as her income. Through this she saved money( some 6 lakhs in Postoffice, bank and chit funds.) and with that she is planning for US visit.

To visit me, my family and Tourism.

Family tiesor reasons for coming back
Since she has 3 daughters and 6 grand children back in India living in the same city, they need her presence for all festive occassions/dayto-day activities.

To look after rented houses etc.

Planning to construct a house in the plot after coming back from USA

My grand mother(my mother's mom) is 90 now and she lives alone in another village. Can we say that - my grandmom also stays with my mom. She has to go back to look after her. My sisters can take care of my grand mom when my mom is in US.

Please clarify this. I will ask about my in-laws later.
