regrading present occupation

my mother is a paper bussiness partner in our firm i., consultancy
in company deed her name is there as a partner.
she is basically a house wife.

so what would be the answer for present occupation?
house wife or self employed.

do they ask why she is a partner when she is nothing to do.
what would be my ans.

She can just reply that she is a passive partner.
