How to make changes in DS-156 ?

I have booked an appt. for my mom's tourist visa at the kolkata consulate and mistankenly marked question 37 as NO in the DS-156 when it should be yes with my H1B status.
My question is how to make the change when the online application has already been submitted?
Please help. Thanks.

You can change any information after Q.15 upto 2 working days before the interview date.

Thanks for your reply but could you please elaborate on that. I am not clear how to change it. Do you mean by using white-out or something and typing on the print out?
BTW, its not a saved application in VFS but a confirmed one.
