I'm a US citizen who is engaged to a UK citizen, but we want to get married in the US, but not stay there, we would return to the UK. Is it still necessary for my fiance to get a K-1 visa, or can he just come in on a tourist visa and we can have a civil marriage and then leave together a few weeks later?
